Performance in collaboration with MassArt Iron Corps
“Puppet Pour” was a performance organized by Willow Trodden with the assitance of Jake Young, Sophie Pinciaro, and Aidyn Alvarez-Curlee. The performance ran during a MassArt organized iron pour where Willow and collaborators ran an iron furnance. The running of the furnace require two key positions, where the active participant was blindfolded and had plugged ears. The other two inactive participants had to guide the active participants only through small physical interactions like tapping and scratching. The performance was a testament to the teams cohesion and confidence in their ability to work together efficiently, even while handicapped.
